Captain, a one-and-a-half-year-old golden retriever, was always a happy dog and he loved to share this happiness with his stuffed tiger toy. And his fur mom Liz Andersen knew that very well because ever since Captain was a pup, he was always obsessed with tigers.
The very first one that Captain ever got was a white tiger that used to be Liz’s daughter’s toy. As the story went, the tiger wasn’t actually a hand-me-down from his human sibling but rather Captain claimed it to be his own. Then soon enough, he destroyed it and went again on a search for another tiger stuffed toy. He found one again, an orange tiger that he kept stealing from Liz’s daughter that eventually became his own.
Captain and his orange tiger were inseparable besties and he would bring his tiger just about everywhere he went. Whenever he was excited, he would always pick his tiger up and wiggle his little butt.
And of course, when Liz’s family moved from California to Denver, Colorado, Captain enjoyed the whole ride with his orange tiger. But more than just a new and fresh start for everyone, Liz and the whole family was so excited to share a new experience with Captain which was snow. And sure enough, when Captain saw fluffy white snowflakes falling from heaven, he was so excited that he couldn’t really believe what he was seeing.
Captain looked all around and hilariously even tried tasting the snowflakes but the whole time, he was just fascinated. And then suddenly, Liz was surprised that Captain was asking to be let in the house. As it turned out, he wanted to take his orange tiger out to show him the snow. He then quickly grabbed his orange tiger and galloped outside, visibly happy to share his first snow experience with his best friend.
It was definitely a very memorable experience not only for Captain but for his whole family as well.
