Dog friendships are genuine. Once dogs bond, they become lifelong pals that desire nothing more than to see and play with one another. And each time they are separated, they experience heartbreak.
Iris, a dog, was good friends with their neighbor’s dog. Unfortunately, the neighbor had to relocate, which prevented Iris from seeing her friend. She was devastated, and her owner, Staci, knew that it would be difficult to cheer her up.
Staci would take Iris to the dog park, but the other dogs did not appear to want to play with her because of her huge size. Staci could see the pain in Iris’ eyes, and she felt terrible that she couldn’t make a new friend and have a new playmate.
Everything changed, however, when a new family with a dog named Odie came into their lives.
Iris was always intrigued when she spotted Odie across the pond, and her tail would perk up as if she wanted to play with him. Staci decided to introduce Iris and Odie gradually to determine if they would get along. When Iris and Odie first met, it was an instantaneous attraction.
Iris and Odie began playing and kissing each other immediately, as if they had been friends for years. Odie will gallop around the pond to reach Iris whenever she is outside.
Iris and Odie were inseparable from the moment they met and constantly wanted to be together.
Staci received a text message with a photo from one of her neighbors informing her that Odie was at her residence. When Staci saw the photograph, Odie appeared to be on the front porch, wishing to enter the house to play with Iris. When Staci contacted Odie’s owners, they found out that Odie had snuck out to play with Iris.
Since meeting Odie, Iris has become considerably more outgoing and cheerful. Iris is so pleased to have made a friend.
