Despite the usefulness of alarm clocks, they can be irritating to use. Fortunately, there’s a way to get the benefit of using an alarm without getting annoyed. Instead of being woken up by a sharp beeping sound, one dog owner trained his dog to wake him up in the morning.
The golden retriever named Bailey became famous on the internet because of his particular skill. There’s an adorable video of him waking his owner up in the morning. This video circulated online, and many people wished that their dog could also do what Bailey did.
Bailey is quite skillful when performing his morning task. He waits for a while before approaching his sleeping owner. He is patient and calm but, at the same time, excited to wake his owner up.
Bailey will jump on his owner’s bed and walk around in circles, hoping the motion would be enough to break the man’s slumber. The dog then waits for any reaction from the owner. If there is none, Bailey then proceeds to nudge his owner gently.
If gently nudging doesn’t work, Bailey pounces on the owner to wake him up. Then the dog starts licking the owner’s face. Those methods never fail to make the owner open his eyes.
If the owner goes back to sleep, Bailey repeats the process with greater intensity. The dog pounces and licks more until the owner finally decides to get out of bed. There is no “snooze” button in this scenario, so the owner has no choice but to start his day.
It’s obvious how much fun Bailey has every time he wakes his owner up. That’s because he sees it as a game more than anything else. Compared to having an alarm clock, Bailey gets the job done in a more fun and entertaining way.
